carolsFriday, December 13th, 2019 5:15 – 8:00pm

5:15pm  |  Caroling at Summerwood of Chanhassen

7:00pm  |  Hayride in Eden Prairie

  • Plan to meet at Summerwood around 5:00pm (Northeast 525 building, center door next to parking lot inside square). We will meet and head up around 5:15pm. The Pack will sing Christmas carols to the residents during their meal.
  • We should be done caroling by 6pm, giving you time to change into outdoor clothing, grab a quick bite to eat, etc. prior to the hayride.
  • We will meet at 6:45pm at the Kerber Residence (17620 Kilmer Ave. in Eden Prairie) for the bonfire and hayride.  The Hayride will depart around 7pm. Directions should be available at this link Directions to 17620 Kilmer Ave Eden Prairie. The hayride is a private home with on street parking. Please try to park on the same side of the road as other cars to allow room for the tractor and wagons to make it onto the streets. hayride-tractor
  • The hayride is tractor pulled wagon tour (roughly 30 minutes or so) of neighborhood Christmas lights and park trails.  Very cool! If there is snow, bring a sled…  there’s a pretty good sledding hill on site! Ed builds an amazing bonfire to keep everyone warm, and we will bring Hot Chocolate for everyone.
  • Scouts should wear full Uniforms for caroling at Summerwood including neckerchief.  For the hayride & bonfire please dress for the outdoors.
  • All Cub Scouts and Adult Leaders should attend (siblings are welcome to join and anyone else who can help sing!).
